Divisions

(All of the following divisions are determined by using July 1st as the cut-off date.)

MITE
Eight(8) years and under. The Mite division has four(4) groupings listed as follows:

Initiation
First year players (and some second year players).

Mite Hockey League (MHL)
All players between Initiation and Mite B.

Mite B
Developmental Team for Mite A (Similar to "Junior Mites" in the past).

Mite A (Mite Travel)
Competitive Mite Team: players must "tryout".

Squirt
Nine(9) and ten(10) years of age.

Pee-Wee
Eleven(11) and twelve(12) years of age.

Bantam
Thirteen(13) and fourteen(14) years of age.

Midget
Fifteen(15) and Sixteen(16) years of age.

Leagues

CNY
Our most competitive teams (travel). These teams are required to play a set number of league games (Q-games) to qualify for the state tournament. Non-league games and tournaments are also played. All CNY teams complete in sectionals and if successful, continue on to the state tournament.

UNY
This league is also competitive and will consist of the second-most competitve teams (travel) from each of the member organizations. UNY will have a set number of required league games as well as non-league games and tournaments. There will be an end-of-year league tournament, however no sectionals or state tournament.

SNOWBELT
A recreational league that consists of teams (house) from member organizations that play a set league schedule and compete in an end-of-year tournament. Standings for this league are posted on a regular basis. (No sectionals or state tournament.)
